Rebecca Quin - Venue and Community Liaison

Rebecca Quin is the Venue & Community Liaison across Museums and Collections at University of Melbourne, the home of Science Gallery Melbourne. A proud Indigenous Australian from south-east Tasmania who commenced employment with the university in the Faculty of Science, supporting both Human Resources and the Environmental Health and Safety department. Rebecca is a queer, neurodiverse, social changemaker who has spent many years working on healing, re-evaluation therapy and community empowerment. Rebecca brings deep listening and connection into the Muesumes and Collections department at a significate time of repatriation of Indigenous artifacts and the reimagining of museums and collections. Rebecca ensures work is conducted authentically, creating a safe space to inspire young minds.
