Erin Milne – Programs Manager, Museums & Collections
Erin Milne is a producer and programmer whose work is deeply driven by a passion for contemporary and experimental art that speaks to the here and now. Living and working on the lands of the Kulin Nation in Melbourne, Australia, Erin is committed to fostering distinctive voices and ambitious ideas.
Founder of independent producing practice Bureau of Works, Erin is a sought-after collaborator with some of Australia’s most distinctive and ambitious artists and companies, bringing a combination of strategy, insight and networks to create exceptional projects. Erin was awarded a Facilitator Prize at the 2022 Sidney Myer Performing Arts Awards, the 2021 Geoffrey Milne Award for Outstanding Contribution to Contemporary & Experimental Performance at Melbourne’s Green Room Awards, is a current International Society of the Performing Arts (ISPA) Fellow, and an alumnus of the Australia Council’s Arts Leaders Program.
From March 2023, Erin has taken up the role of Programs Manager, Museums & Collections at the University of Melbourne, focused on public programming strategy and engagement across the University’s Museums & Collections department, including Ian Potter Museum of Art, Buxton Contemporary, Science Gallery Melbourne and STEM Centre of Excellence, Grainger Museum, Old Quad, and the new M Pavilion Parkville.
