ECSITE'd about FOOD in Trento

We really enjoyed our time at ECSITE: Food for Curious Minds in Trento this week, meeting old and new friends and hearing stories about what is working (and not working) in science centres worldwide. We especially liked some of the provocative questions that were being asked - Do we need scientists in Science Centres? Do we need buildings? Do we need exhibits?

We were kept busy across the two days - Lynn Scarff and Ian Brunswick from Science Gallery Dublin discussed the latest issues and trends in science engagement, whilst Rob and Sarah from our Touring Team in SGI vaporized whiskey cocktails and talked traveling exhibitions with the 1,000+ delegates at this year's conference, hosted at the spectacular MUSE.

With the key theme of food, Trento really lived up to its reputation, and kindly shared its best recipes. See you next year, ECSITE!
