The Science Gallery Network is featured in the White Paper on the Interrelation between Art, Science, Technology and Society, edited by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT).
The main objective of this publication is to generate a more cross-cutting, collective perspective of the Art-Science-Technology-Society (ACTS) field, one that is more attuned to its own reality. To this end, FECYT has assembled a working group of specialists in this area who, together with numerous interdisciplinary agents, have analysed the current state of the ACTS field. The methodology followed in the White Paper includes a selection of case studies at both national and international levels, as well as a diagnosis of the current situation based on case studies and document analysis, interviews, and group work sessions or expert consultations.
This book is accompanied by an artwork conceived by Pep Gatell (Épica Foundation – La Fura dels Baus) exclusively for FECYT. We offer open access to 3D print its components and build it with your own hands. In this .zip file, you can download the files and instructions.
